Когато започнете да разглеждате кафета, обикновено бързо ще се сблъскате с реалността, че
макар да има толкова много производители и марки, сортовете са само два – арабика и робуста.
Поради тази причина много хора смятат, че кафето няма значение. Арабиката е арабика
навсякъде, както и робустата. Да, може да има разлика от бленд до бленд, но чистите сортове са
еднакви.

Това обаче изобщо не е така! Качественото кафе на зърна не зависи просто от сорта си. Да, той
определя основните му качества (като кофеиново съдържание и други някои елементи в него), но
не определя всички вкусови свойства на напитката. Арабика отглеждана в една част от света може
да има съвсем различни свойства от такава, отглеждана в друга част. Затова днес ще видим кои са
най-силните кафета на света и от кой от двата сорта идват!

„Забраненото“ кафе

Забраненото кафе е много интересна комбинация от арабика и робуста. То е може би петото най-
силно кафе на света и съдържа до 474 мг кофеин в стандартна чаша. За справка, обикновено
кафетата съдържат между 100 и 200 мг кофеин. Това прави забраненото кафе почти 5 пъти по-
силно от кафето, което пият повечето хора. Каква точно комбинация от арабика и робуста се
използва не е ясно, но това дори не е най-силното кафе!

Кафето убиец

Кафето убиец е специален сорт арабика, който постига съдържание на кофеин до 645 мг за чаша.
Това е страшно много за арабика, тъй като този сорт кафе по принцип не е известен с високото си
кофеиново съдържание. Обикновено за да направят едно кафе по-силно, добавят към него
робуста. Но в случая липсва какъвто и да е примес. Трябва да отбележим, че силата на кафето не
винаги се отразява от неговия вкус. Можете да си намерите страхотно кафе (например от
Cafemag), което да има силен вкус без умопомрачаващия ефект на толкова много кофеин.

Убийствено желание

Убийствено желание се приготвя от сортове кафе от Перу и Индия. Отново се пази в тайна точно
как става това, но съдържанието на кофеин в него е 728 мг за чаша. То и като цена е доста скъпо,
защото се използват специални зърна за приготвянето му, което го прави недостъпно за много
хора. И все пак заслужава мястото си като второто най-силно кафе на света. С една такава чаша
може буквално да се изстреляте в космоса. Какво остава обаче за най-силното кафе? Нека видим!

Кафето „Биологична заплаха“

Най-силното кафе на света далеч не е нито най-вкусното, нито най-предпочитаното. То се прави от
специален сорт робуста, който е толкова наситен на кофеин, че прави вкуса на това кафе почти
непоносим, освен ако не го подсладим значително. Съдържа в себе си 928 милиграма за чаша и
това го прави пиенето му сериозен риск.
Здравните организации препоръчват да не консумираме повече от 400 мг кофеин на ден, така че
само с една чаша от това кафе ние надвишаваме тези препоръки повече от 2 пъти. Лесно можем
да си дадем сметка какво означава това. Затова ако се натъкнете на това кафе, много внимавайте.

Употребата му е по-скоро в приготвянето на кафе напитки, които искате да ви заредят, без реално
да се слага много голямо количество кафе.
