Apartments of three single mothers repaired under "SHE" campaign
Apartments of three single mothers have been repaired at a total value of 4,823 BGN under "SHE" campaign, organized by Bulgarian Fund for Women (BFW) and Habitat for humanity foundation.
One of the flats repaired has a floorage of 65 sq. m. and is owned by Minka Lubomirova Todorova. The repair works included change of the window and door frames, change of the floor, making of a leak isolation of the bathroom floor and walls and painting of the walls and doors in the flat. The costs of the repair were covered by BFW and amount to 2,370 BGN. Minka Todorova has a son who is disabled.
The second repaired flat has a floorage of 68 sq. m and is owned by Violeta Davidova Benova. The repair works included change of the window and door frames, repair of the balcony and painting of the walls. The costs of the repair were covered by BFW and amount to 1,150 BGN. Violeta Benova has a son aged 13.
The third flat has a floorage of 74 sq. m. and is owned by Daniela Simeonova Romanova. The repair works included change of the window and door frames, repair of the balcony and paining of the walls. The costs of the repair were covered by BFW and amount to 1,303 BGN. Daniela Romanova has two daughters aged 17 and 14.
The last repair works will be completed by July 15, 2006 and with them the funds raised for the "SHE" campaign will run out. In order to continue the program, BFW needs support and donations by new donors. You can contribute to repair of homes of women who support their families on their own by donating for "SHE" campaign.
